Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The United Nations and WHO launched a joint program to end cervical cancer in 2012, with the foreseeing goal to reduce the incidence of cervical cancer by 50% by 2030. It is an unmitigated task for us, public heath officers, gynecologists and gynecologic oncologists devoted in cervical screening. Moreover, Challenges encountered by the distorted mass environment due to the COVID-19 endemic.
To achieve the goal at this chaotic era, a modification of screening schedule, according to the domestic environment, by decision-markers is ongoing or has been undertaken. In this special issue, the authors present their efforts to reduce the incidence of cervical cancer, which includes the background, the rationale, the population cervical screening policy and the current practice that has been achieved and that will be adjusted. The cost and effectiveness of screening and suggestions for further improvement accordingly may provide others valuable information.
Therefore, we decided to published a special issue on "Deployment of cervical screening in the coming years" and invite the decision-makers to share their perspectives. This issue will become an important reference for all of us if you can submit your domestic history and perspectives of cervical screening.
I sincerely hope you are interested in this event and would contribute your prestigious experience, thought, and thesis to the global colleagues who are also undertaking this challenging but deserved task.
