Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In gynecologic cancer, the introduction of molecular-targeted drugs was delayed compared to other areas, however, major changes have occurred in both research and clinical practice in the gynecologic area. To classify the detailed characteristics of tumors, the classification of subgroups based on genomic analysis has become the main evidence in deciding personal treatment, replacing the traditional pathological classification. The approval of PARP inhibitor, Immune checkpoint inhibitor, and Angiogenesis inhibitor, has been changing the treatment of gynecologic malignancies.
Many clinical trials have been conducted on the combination of conventional chemotherapy and molecular-targeted drugs, or the combination of several molecular-targeted drugs. Under such circumstances, we would like to widely call for various manuscripts related to “Precision Medicine for Gynecologic Malignancies” in both research and clinical fields.
